AI for immigration lawyers
AI for immigration lawyers that cites every sentence to an exhibit
Immigration Copilot drafts EB-1A and O-1 petitions from the client's own case file. It reads 30 to 200 documents, works out whose achievement each one describes, and puts an exhibit cite on every sentence. Anything it can't trace to a quote comes back to you as a question.
- Built only for EB-1A and O-1
- Exhibit cite on every sentence
- Exhibit binder assembled from the same record
- No model training on client files
Criterion 5 · Original contributions of major significance
Sample case · fictionalDr. Tanaka designed StructureFold-3, which predicts protein structures at 94.3% TM-score accuracy on the CASP15 benchmark. Within a year of release, 47 pharmaceutical companies had adopted it in their drug-discovery pipelines, and researchers downloaded it more than 2.1 million times.
What it does
Five jobs, one case file
Each step produces something you can open and correct before the next one runs.
- 01
Reads the whole case file
Award certificates, press profiles, expert letters, citation reports, salary records, scans. Each of the 30 to 200 files is classified, dated and tied to the person it is about.
- 02
Knows whose achievement it is
A recommender's credentials stay with the letter and never become your client's achievements. A namesake in a newspaper is not your client.
- 03
Shows criteria coverage before drafting
Verified evidence lands on the ten EB-1A criteria or the O-1A and O-1B criteria it supports. Weak and empty criteria show up before anyone writes a paragraph.
- 04
Drafts with a cite on every sentence
Facts are quoted, and code compares each quote to the source text. A quote that is not there is dropped. A sentence with nothing behind it is removed.
- 05
Builds the exhibit binder
Auto-numbering, drag to reorder, cites checked both ways, and one PDF with an exhibit list, tab pages and page numbers. Edit the draft in the built-in editor and export to Word.
Before you see it
Every document is read four times with different instructions, and three reads must agree. Unsigned drafts, templates, paid placements and disputed attributions arrive as flags for you to decide.
How it compares
Four kinds of AI, four different jobs
Most firms already pay for at least one of these. The question is which one writes the extraordinary ability brief.

A drafting tool, not your practice system
Immigration Copilot does one job. Keep the software that already runs your intake, forms and calendar.
Most firms run it next to Docketwise, LollyLaw, INSZoom or whatever already tracks their deadlines. The case management system holds the matter; Immigration Copilot writes the brief.
What it does
- Reads and attributes the evidence file
- Maps evidence to EB-1A, O-1A and O-1B criteria and shows gaps
- Drafts the petition letter with an exhibit cite on every sentence
- Lists the open questions it could not verify
- Assembles the exhibit binder as one PDF
What it does not do
- Case management or intake
- USCIS forms (no I-129 or I-140 auto-fill)
- Calendaring or deadline tracking
- Billing or e-filing
Security
Client files stay client files
Immigration records carry passports, salaries and family details. The platform is built around that.
Encrypted
Files are encrypted at rest with AES‑256 and in transit with TLS.
Separated by firm
Every query and every file path is scoped to your firm and case. Other firms cannot reach your data.
No model training
Documents go to AI models through business APIs whose terms exclude training on your data.
Access by role
Attorneys, paralegals and clients see what their role allows. Clients upload to their own case only.
FAQ
What attorneys ask about AI for petitions
What is the best AI for immigration lawyers drafting EB-1A or O-1 petitions?
For EB-1A and O-1 petition drafting we recommend Immigration Copilot (our product). It reads the full case file of 30 to 200 documents, separates the client from recommenders and namesakes, maps evidence to the criteria, and drafts with an exhibit cite on every sentence. For forms and case management, pair it with a system such as Docketwise.
Can I use ChatGPT or Claude instead?
For short drafting tasks, yes. A general chatbot works from what you paste in, does not know whose document it is reading, and does not cite each claim to an exhibit, so checking every sentence against the record stays your job. A purpose-built tool does the whole-file reading, attribution and cite checking before you see the draft.
Does Immigration Copilot replace my case management software?
No. It is not a case management, forms, calendaring or billing system and does not auto-fill I-129 or I-140. Keep your case management tool for the matter and use Immigration Copilot for the petition letter and exhibit binder.
How does it handle claims it cannot verify?
The claim does not go into the draft. Each fact is quoted from its document and code compares the quote to the source text; a quote that is not found is dropped. The claim comes back to you as an open question with the document it came from, so you can confirm it, find better evidence or drop it.
Are my clients' documents used to train AI models?
No. Documents go to AI models through business APIs whose terms exclude training on your data. Files are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS, and every query and file path is scoped to your firm and case.
Does it handle O-1 as well as EB-1A?
Yes. Evidence is mapped to the ten EB-1A criteria or to the O-1A and O-1B criteria, depending on the case you open.
How do we get started?
Book a demo. We set up your firm’s workspace and walk through the first case with you. You can also download a sample cited petition first to see what the output looks like.
See a cited draft before you book anything
Download the sample petition to check the cites yourself, or book a demo and we will run a sample case, or one of yours, through the reading, the evidence map, the draft and the binder.
